Daniel Spruch, 43, has no job. He used to help Franz F., a man that lives close to Hannover, to find new tenants for his shoddy house in Schulenburg. Spruch and Franz F. searchd for homeless people to cramb them into tiny rooms and rent the same room for several times, to collect more money from the job center. Spruch quit, after his own room was rented to someone else in his absence.
Selin Arikoğlu, 39, is a social worker and local politician. She lives in Hanover and grew up in a socially deprived area as the daughter of a single Turkish mother. Today, she is mainly involved with delinquents and their families.
Carina Walter, 44, is homeless and lives on the stress of Hannover. Several times Walter has squatted public and private buildings that are kept vacant.
Ina (name changed), 54, was homless until she squatted a vacant flat, together with friends and activists. She used to be a social worker and has not been able to rent an appartement. Therefore she turnt to squatting.
Tahere Faisi, 55, sews clothing in the "Makers Workshop" of "One Happy Family". Faisi has been on Lesbos for six months and lives in the camp "Mavrovouni".

Jawed Sadeqi, 29, lives in Nienburg and had to flee Afghanistan in 2015 because he was threatened with death for his work as a journalist. Since the Taliban took power, he has been speaking at protests in Lower Saxony, giving interviews and trying to draw attention to the situation on the ground on social media. Nastya, 20, from a suburb of Kyiv has fled her home due to the ongoing shelling and attacks by the Russian military. She is queuing for a ticket to Poland. It will take her another 24 hours to reach European soil.
Ansari Khalid, 49, has fled his home in Charkiw, that is subject to heavy shelling and bombing. "I decided to leave, because I don’t know about tommorow. Today when I arrived here, they phoned me from home, that they bombed my house", he says.
