The Spanish NGO  Open Arms rescued 146 people from various parts of Africa drifting in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.  A journey that led them to risk their lives in the Mediterranean, trying to cross the hundreds of miles that separate the Libyan coast from European soil.

A two weeks mission full of unforeseen events that began in the port of Barcelona on February 2, 2021 and ended in the Italian port of Empedocles on the island of Sicily the 16 February 2021.
