The Bird King is a unique story where science and cosmovision bond together to save the largest flying bird in the world, the andean condor.
The Bird King (wip)
The Andean Condor is the largest flying bird in the world and they are honored by indigenous communities all across the Andes Mountains. They are the ones that carry our souls and raise men's prayers to heaven. The Incas believed him to be immortal, however, the over exploitation of natural resources placed the condor on the brink of extinction. These sacred birds became in the past years a conservation challenge due to the massive death of condors by illegal use of agrochemicals used for predator control.
The Bird King is how a group of people combine the latest technological advances in conservation, the ancestral wisdom and the Andean cosmovision to avoid the extinction of an emblematic species.
