The past two weeks in an addition to the past year in addition to the past times. It’s all there and it all feels like an endless repeating carousel. The American nation has twisted love affair with the second amendment and gun ownership. It’s hard to constantly hold on to the hope that it will be better--that it can be better--that we can prevent further bloodshed.
I made this piece of work the last week of March after two shootings in the U.S. that happened within one week of each other. One at multiple Asian-owned spas in Georgia and the other at a Colorado grocery store.
