My name's Jun – I'm an independent filmmaker living in New York. Though my mother is Cuban-American and from Queens, my father is from Tokyo and I grew up in Japan.
Tokyo is my Shire, my Hobbiton, if you will. I journeyed from Hobbiton to NYC to study filmmaking and recently graduated from New York University. My travels through New York these last years have been like the journey to Mordor: rocky, but punctuated with a lot of life-lessons and beauty. I've grown a lot from the innocent little hobbit I once was.

It is my most recent finished film — I'm currently working on a movie called Knightman about a medieval knight stranded in New York City. I look forward to sharing it with you!
