Geographer and free-lance photographer, she has been travelling the world for years studying the interrelationship between people and environment, promoting a sustainable tourism and taking street and documentary photographs. Her essential subject is social life focusing in everyday life, cultural stories and contemporary issues, always attracted by isolated places and people out of the spotlight. A special passion for intimacy and details led her to develop portraiture as one of preferred means to interact with people and better understand the human feelings. Solo Exhibitions. USA: Supporting humanitarian issues her photographs portraying children and women in Tibet Laos and Morocco, are on show during the FotoDC and in “The World Bank Law, justice and Development Week” and “Investing in women and girls” in Washington DC. Spain: Working hands at Barcelona Photo Biennale Gala Awards; Portrait of an Eritrean girl at Fotonostrum Mediterranean House of Photography, Barcelona. Online Exhibition: “Faces, gestures, expressions seen through women” is presented in “Chime For Change” USA; “Italian women” and “A woman’s tale” is on show in New York, at ENIT Italian Government Tourist Board; Reconnecting with Religion is presented in “Hedge of Humanity Magazine” USA. In 2016, her first pocketbook was published: "La figlia di Saadi" Ed. Polaris (co-author M. Mallen), a tour around the world through short stories and photographs dedicated to the female universe. After being away from photography world for a while, she started to share again her photography.
