A young couple moved from Houlton, Maine, to New York city with hopes of starting fresh.  They wound up in an apartment provided by homeless services.  A radiator cap fell off and steam flooded the room of their two toddlers, scalding and killing them both.  This is the backstory of how they wound up homeless in New York, and and how the family they left behind is coping.
