On October 9, 2019, residents of a historic community in Dallas, Texas, woke up to a roaring sound of violent winds. The wind would soon turn to an EF-3 tornado; the tornado would touch down to destroy 4 billion dollars worth of damages to this neighborhood. What happens in the aftermath of a disaster that leaves people in trauma? As I walked the narrow streets with layers of downed trees, I witnessed Americans coming together to help one another clean and rebuild. Reports that no residents in the path of the tornado have faced death. This disaster leaves many in Dallas how dangerous these storms can be, and that in most the times can be unpredictable.
