Born in Venezuela, with a mixed Italian background, moved to United States when she was only 17 years old, to attend College in California. It was during her move from California to Salt Lake City, Utah when she made her first attempt to be a model, thanks to her mom's best friend who suggested it and told her to give it a try.
Then moving to New York to pursue her modeling career, Losmir was signed under a Ford Models contract. Years later is finally when her career takes off and she started traveling and living in Italy, France and back to The States, working for top clients in the industry.
During all this time, she would take photographs on every trip, with an old 35mm camera, using Black & White film, which she purchased once in a local garage sale in New York. This is when she discovers the true love for photography and how it had become a passion of hers. Even though she had been in love with photography since a very young age.
She started taking photos of random objects, then jumped into Landscapes pictures, since she was traveling a lot, and then finally jumped into Fashion when she moved to Miami, Florida.
She has also a passion for surfing photography but only does it as a hobby, on account of being a surfer herself.
Losmir has been inspired by her 25 years of experience as a high fashion model and has seen an evolution on her work when she moved back to Los Angeles, California, surrounded by the Ocean and nature there, this is when she turned her attention once again to photography full-time.
Her favorite photoshoots are Portraits, seeing that she loves to capture the person's energy in that specific moment. But also enjoys Fashion Beauty, newborn babies and dogs photoshoots.
Her favorite line: "I'm fascinated how is possible to capture a moment and remember it for a life time."
