Since the beginning of the protests ignited with George Floyd's killing by police offers in Michigan, New Yorkers have been showing up to offer their services as volunteers and aids handing out essentials and services while simultaneously protesting and offering support. Some established community organizers, some newly formed, and most of them individuals, they have been organizing aid stations and handouts, offering protestors essentials such as water, food, sunscreen, masks and hand sanitizer.
