The anarchist group of “Resistencia Queer“ marched in Mexico City on Monday 8th to demand justice for police brutality against 16-year-old Melanie, as well as, Giovanni López in Guadalajara.

After the death of George Floyd, there have been protests arising around the world against police brutality and racism.

In Latinamerica the awakening has been a little slow since we are still the epicenter of the pandemic and a big part of the society is in denial of the role racism plays in our lives even though Conquest, Evangelization and Colonialism were the founding base of our countries.
