The Zambezi River divides Mozambique. In this region the cross of the river is made by barge/boat.
On the surrounds a lot of young women stay where they sell to truck drivers food, rest, sex and beer.

Ilha de Mozambique was once a trading post on the sea route from Europe to the East Indies, this island harbour was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1991.
