March for Justice, March for Change

An estimated twenty thousand people danced, drummed, chanted and marched their way through the streets of San Francisco on June 3,  in the strongest show of solidarity yet at not only the killing of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers but also a system of injustice built on oppressing and silencing voices of color. What I witnessed that day were those voices heard through a megaphone. All of this was organized by students. These kids are fierce, driven, fed up and inspiring. Shot on assignment for The San Francisco Chronicle.
