TITLE

The 2019 GUILD Mentorship is an opportunity to receive mentorship and career development consultation and support from the Visura team and its extended professional network for a mutually agreed upon time. Through mentorships and consultations, the mentorship program is designed to recognize, empower and connect early-stage professional visual storytellers with media professionals, publishers, designers, leaders, computer engineers, scientists, researchers, grant writers, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs worldwide. Each mentor will be paired with one or more mentors from Visura's team and its extended professional network for a mutually agreed upon period of one to twelve months. The pairing and schedule will vary depending on the participants' proposal. Once the mentorship is completed, each fellow will receive an invitation to join Visura's GUILD curated database of professional visual storytellers worldwide.

TERM

The 2019 GUILD mentorship is a resource provided by Visura.co, where Visura.co hosts a unique merit-based open call exclusively for Visura’s Annual Members with a STANDARD, PLUS or PRIME annual membership (the “Contest”). Sponsor will select the winner based on the evaluation of the entries against objective judging criteria.

A section of Visura's Career Development Program, this fellowship is an invite-only opportunity and only possible thanks to the leaders and organizations that are looking to support this program. To be considered for the program, you must be a Visura member and you can either: 1) submit to an open call 2) or be directly invited by Visura founders Adriana Teresa or Graham Letorney Letorney. Invitation to become a participant will be awarded on a rolling basis.

The open call begins Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 8:00:00 a.m. US Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”).  Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these official rules ("Official Rules"). By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules. This is a merit-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the skill of entrant.

The contest is open only to individuals who are Visura Annual Members with a STANDARD, PLUS or PRIME  annual membership, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry, and who do NOT reside in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria. Employees of FotoVisura Inc, and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related are not eligible. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
