A souvenir stand selling images of Abbas Ibn Ali on Mount Tomorr, near Berat, Albania. Every year from 20th-25th August, Mount Tomorr in southern Albania is the site of a large pilgrimage and feast in honour of Abbas Ali, the 7th century martyr venerated by Shia and Sufi Muslims. He is an especially important figure within Albania's Bektashi Sufi order, but the pilgrimage attracts members of many different religious faiths, as visiting the mountain and its various shrines is thought to bring health and good luck.
