Nicole Mata is a Digital Media & Design student at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, concentrating in Motion Design & Animation. Mata is a first generation student from East Hartford, CT. Born and raised in Connecticut to immigrant parents, she grew up with strong ties to her families’ home country of Mexico, where she spent much of her childhood.
With a passion for child education and animals, much of her work focuses on making health promotion fun and engaging. In an effort to raise awareness around the conservation of endangered species, much of Mata’s work highlights animals facing extinction.
