Nicole Marie, an alumni of Maine Media College, has been published in Student Filmmaker's Magazine, The Music Scene Magazine and The Maine Media Workshops Catalog and Newsletter. She has exhibited her work at Alameda Arts Center, Asymmetrick Arts, Plumm Restaurant (NY), Brevetto Bistro, 407 Studios, River Arts Gallery, and The Strand Theatre. In 2010 she collaborated with See Line Apparel, to design a clothing line and hosted a summer fashion show. Soon after she directed the film The Roaring 20s, which premiered at The Strand Theatre in Rockland. The Roaring 20s was the product of an after school program for Mid-Coast youth, which Nicole facilitated and taught in partnership with the Farnsworth Education Department. Since, she has made many other films with local youth and the Farnsworth Education Department. Nicole has worked with students boths abroad and domestic. Her solo show, "My Alebtong', took place at Asymmetrick Arts in Rockland, Maine. The show displayed works by students of a workshop she taught in Uganda as well as a personal photography project she shot while in Africa. She facilitated a trip to Guatemala with a group of high school students, where they taught photography to local youth. She currently creates creative kickstarter videos for artists and curates interior desgn at her various vacation home rentals in Rockland, Maine. She has a studio in Providence, RI where she designs clothing and various decor, such as throw pillows, and pouches & bags.
