Dribbling From Dusk Til Dawn

It started with the question: how are we going to cover this? The Missourian had covered the Norm Stewart Classic, 48 hours of high school basketball games before so we needed to do something different, something special. After brainstorming with fellow photo editors Emmalee Reed and Tristen Rouse, we settled on black and white photography covering 24 hours of basketball hour by hour. In order for that to work, we'd need two photographers who could own the project, be invested and be up for 12+ hours of photography. Megan Matty and Cara Penquite were those people. After working with Megan and Cara to create the edit, I created the web presentation and coded HTML to create the times the photo was taken with the help of the assistant director of photography Margo Wagner.
