New York
New York was inspired by Jose Saramago's novel "Blindness." There's a part near the end where the blind people are bumbling around, blindly, through the city. Back then, I'd see the tourist busses every day and the thought occurred to me that there was a similarity. So I waited for a rainy spell, then rode the tour busses forawhile to see what the blind people didn't see. Turned out to be, New York.
