I am happy to announce that I have won the "˜People' category in Black+White Photography magazine's Black+White Photographer of the Year 2015competition!

This picture was taken at a coffee shop in Dubuque, Iowa. As I was sitting having coffee I looked up and saw this Rockwellian scene. Instinctually I raised my camera, capturing the ephemeral moment before it was gone.
