Overfishing threatens the livelihood of millions of people especially when there is a high depletion of fish. Compared to other protein production systems, fish farming is the most efficient source of protein production with a low carbon footprint. Uganda prides itself in sustainable aquaculture practices with a major aim to enhance food security in Africa whilst easing pressure on wild fish stocks to enable the restoration of aquatic ecosystems. Save our environment, eat sustainably farmed tilapia.
