Figurines

While photographing a figurine in a flowing red dress at my grandmother's house, I gazed into her eyes and discovered she was staring at me... as if she recognized me.   I now anthropomorphize these small porcelain figurines.  Their solemn stares and stoic silence have seduced me into making their portraits
