KfW Westarkade Frankfurt am Main
The KfW Westarkade building is located in Zeppelinallee in Frankfurt's Westend district, a prestigious area known for its financial institutions and high-end residential properties. The building was designed by the renowned architectural firm Sauerbruch Hutton and completed in 2010. It is a sustainable building that uses renewable energy sources and has won several awards for its innovative design: Best Tall Buildings Worldwide 2011, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the Mies van der Rohe Award, selected work 2011 and the BIM Award 2007.
