Isabel is a long-term photographic series developed in Santiago de Chile that takes us through a claustrophobic journey. For five years I went along with Isabel (63) taking care of her father due to the promise she made to her deceased mother and the impossibility of paying for a nurse or a nursing home. "Isabel" is an intimate and self-sacrificing father-daughter relationship that has led our protagonist to self-confinement for more than ten years, isolating herself and postponing her own existence for the well being of Jorge (97), her father.

Isabel es una serie fotográfica de largo aliento desarrollada en Santiago de Chile que nos lleva a través de un claustrofóbico viaje. Durante cinco años acompañamos a Isabel (63) en los cuidados de su padre ante la promesa que le hizo a su difunta madre y la imposibilidad de pagar por una enfermera o un asilo de ancianos. "Isabel" es una intima y abnegada relación padre e hija que ha llevado a nuestra protagonista a un autoencierro desde hace mas de diez años, aisladose y postergando su propia existencia en función del bienestar de Jorge (97), su padre.
