21st Century Cowboy by Ariel Ramchandani for Intelligent Life Magazine                                                           2014

Nestled between the San Juan Range to the east and the Sangre De Christo Mountains to the west lies The Blue Range Ranch and the Whitten family. George Whitten is the original cowboy, born and raised on this land, and Julie's a hippie from California. Once they married George went organic. Holistic land management and humane treatment of their animals are at the forefront of their story. So are the burdens of climate change and drought, and the challenges facing a small, family owned, grass-fed ranch competing with the larger super-ranches.

The Old Caribbean by Charles Laurence for Intelligent Life Magazine                                                                 2014

Charles Laurence, the author of "The Social Agent” and a former correspondent for the Daily Telegraph, arrived in the Salt Cay in the Turks & Caicos on-assignment and never left. The island is seemingly stuck in a time not our own. Inhabited for salt plantation now long gone, a population of 53 continue to live on. Charles built a house and a boat and has made friends with some extraordinary characters.

Island in the Stream 2004 - 2012

Traveling to Cuba in discord with the United States embargo, documenting an island in the stream of politics, ideologies and imaginations. Capturing the people, lifestyle and essence of the street, which left me with two conflicting spirits: Although Cuba is a country of immense beauty and passion, cultured and proud, it resonates with under tones of a gentle sadness that I cannot overlook. The purpose of the project was to document Cuban life as it had been, to freeze in time a Cuba that was slowly ebbing away. Featured in multiple solo shows, exhibitions and articles. Limited edition prints sold to the fine art world.

Unbreakable Child under U.N. auspice 2004

"Unbreakable Child” was inspired by five children I met at an orphanage outside Port-au-Prince, Haiti the year Jean-Bertrand Aristide was ousted from office and shortly after Hurricane Jeanne reaped its destruction. Traveling with the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), going on patrol in Port Au Prince with the Brazilian Marines to the pro-Aristide slums of Cite Soléil and Bel Air and flying in a Mi-8 into Gonaïves, and Cap-Haitian, I documented the world around me through still photography and photo journalistic storytelling. This piece was featured in various articles and fundraising exhibitions in support of children’s welfare.
