His images are exhibited both internationally and in the U.S. and have appeared in a wide range of publications including Time, Smithsonian, Outside Magazine, The California Sunday Magazine, Saveur.com, New York Times - T Magazine (via Instagram takeover), PDN, Grantland, Internazionale, Vice, Slate, and L’oeil de la Photographie. Mike's ongoing project documenting craftsmanship in Japan was named a 2016 PhotoLucida Critical Mass finalist.
