Jill Luton

Jill Nicole Luton is a visual artist with an emphasis in photography. She began her journey into photography during the 2008 recession to add a bright spot to her life during a stint of unemployment. After a time working as a photographer-for-hire she shifted her focus to the therapeutic act of art making. With the use of self-portraiture as well as daily observations, her work primarily focuses on concepts in mental health and the actions of mothering. She lives with her husband and 2 children in Wichita, KS.
