I am so excited and honored to be named a finalist for the Howard Chapnick Grant via the W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund! My NGO here in Venezuela, Project MiRA (https://www.instagram.com/miravzla/) has been working hard for over two years, using photography as a tool of empowerment, critical thinking and visibility for youth in Venezuela's barrios. We work with and for communities, wanting to show the Venezuelan reality through the eyes of its youth. We are honored to have our work recognized + be among such a fascinating group of initiatives.
