the chosen one
Summary
'The chosen on' is a body of work I have been doing a research on segregation and the stories of our childhood which still haunt my village. I would love to propose on making it a worldwide body of work where as I an as a artist would make more research on a state of transit on different cities and country to where as we have almost the similar experiences on embracing the stories of segregation and recreating the imagination and perspective of the state of transit
I got fascinated by the bus commuting and felt more welcome, and as a creative I was recreating the stories of segregation, trauma of the late apartheid era that left the society of black communities surprise as they can now sit everywhere in any state on transit South Africa. safe ride and much affordable source of transport. I felt documenting the bus and the people in it that use it daily and how I see the journey to school was important to my community. techniques of movement is to exaggerate the fact of comfortability and freedom of movement in the bus and of course the chaotic emotions that school kids and adults show around the space.
