I have taken on a personal ongoing project to document my experiences and feelings during this time of significant transformation in my residential area. The construction works are underway, and with each passing day, the changes are becoming more evident.

Living on a small island that is approaching its full capacity, I have concerns about the ability of future infrastructure to cope with the increasing population. The impact of these developments on the environment and existing infrastructure is something that we must carefully consider.

The construction has already altered the environment in some ways, and this has brought up a range of emotions in me. As someone who appreciates nature, it's disheartening to see the destruction of the greenery and habitats for wildlife. In particular, the construction sites have become the last resort for all the neighborhood dogs. It's a joy to see them running freely, playing with each other and chasing up and down the hill. But as the construction work progresses, it's likely that this happy scene will come to an end.

Despite these challenges, I see this as an opportunity for growth and reflection. I am grateful for the chance to document this ongoing project, as it will serve as a reminder of the importance of balancing progress with preservation. It is crucial to find ways to mitigate the impact of construction on the environment and to ensure that natural habitats are protected and restored. It is also important to consider the impact of future infrastructure on the existing environment and infrastructure. Through this project, I hope to raise awareness of these issues and inspire more environmentally responsible development.
