Katherine is a documentary and conceptual photographer based between Toronto and Hong Kong. Exploring themes of climate crisis, Asian diaspora, and social movements, she believes in the power of visual storytelling to connect one another and drive change. To do so, she regularly draws from a mixture of photography, film and data.
A graduate of International Relations, Development Studies, and Journalism, she was previously the Photography Project Manager for Climate Tracker and a Program Coordinator for Photographers without Borders, and have interned for both Reuters and AFP in Hong Kong.
Most recently, her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, US News, and China Dialogue. Available for editorial and commercial assignments internationally.
