Guerrero's work seeks the phenomenological experience in photography through visual abstractions in space, generating a combination of interior images and still life. From the poetic and the conceptual, her work reflects experiences and interactions that respond to the transient and the absent; memory, loss, and void creating an ambivalence with analog and digital practices.

She obtained a Master's Degree in the Social Developments of Artistic Culture from the University of Malaga, Spain. Her photographic practice started while gaining diplomas in photography from Academia de Artes Visuales (AAVI) and The Pedro Meyer Foundation, both in Mexico City. She has obtained the Sony World Photography Award, the POY Latam, FOAM Paul Huf Award nominee, and recently, she has been selected among the "30 under 30 women photographers" by Artpil.

Guerrero's work is part of the Contemporary Image Platform (PICS) catalog by Centro de la Imagen, Mexico. Her work has been exhibited across Europe, the UK, the United States, and Mexico. Including prestigious venues like the Somerset House London and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Zagreb.

Since 2017 she has participated in an international scene with greater scope and representation of contemporary Latin American photography as a jury, curator, writer, speaker and portfolio reviewer. In 2019 she founded Femgrafía, a platform for dissemination and research on the photographic work of women in Latin America and Spain.
