Born and raised in Sweden, I received my MFA in graphic design and illustration from the University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm. In 1999, I moved to Paris towork as an art director and a graphic designer.
Photography quickly became my choice for a professional career. I took lasses in photojournalism at the school EMI-CFD in Paris. Since 2010, I regularly do reportage and portait work on commission.
I also create fine art photography projects where my favorite subjects are selfportraits and observations from random wanderings around Paris. I focus on themes of identity, loneliness, pain and construction / deconstruction. My photographic series have been exhibited in photography festivals in Sweden and France.
My artistic work, inspired by primitive art and surrealism, is tinged with Scandinavian melancholy. It also incorporates collage, drawing and printmaking.
I'm a member of Studio Hans Lucas.
