A graduate of Development Studies and photographer, Katherine is passionate about protecting our planet and the people living on it. Having travelled across Canada by train, lived in rural Kenya, and studied foreign policy in Asia, she is always on the lookout to share the stories of our world using the universal language of photography. With an interdisciplinary academic background in International Relations and Development Studies, she hopes to bring a critical lens rooted in post-colonial theory, sustainable development, and anthropology towards ethical visual storytelling. Having recently completed her M.A., she will be spending the next year based in East Asia and visually documenting environmental projects, cultural stories, and geopolitical events in the region.
