This news documentary follows the longer-term impact the Easter Sunday terror attacks had on the fabric of Sri Lanka in the month that followed. The Buddhist majority country spiralled into further sectarian violence in response to the ISIS-inspired attacks. This violence was directed at the Muslim community, Islamophobia was rampant and a tiny pocket of UNHCR refugees living in Sri Lanka in particular were singled out and attacked.
Produced in association with the Slow Journalism Company.
