In this edition of Correspondents, we go to Western Sahara to learn about the situation of thousands of young Sahrawis who have taken up arms after 30 years of peace with Rabat.
Since the breaking of the ceasefire between Morocco and the Polisario Front in November 2020, the Occidental Sahara it is once again in a state of war. Thousands of young Sahrawis have taken up arms after 30 years of a peace plan with Rabat. In this new stage, the Polisario Front has the support of Algeria, which has broken relations with its neighbor and rival Morocco, among other reasons, due to its differences in the Western Sahara conflict.
