The city of Santarém in Pará has one of the toughest conflicts in Brazil. On one hand, the indigenous who have always lived there, fighting to defend their forest, like Alessandra Munduruku, a very important indigenous leadership who lives everyday with deaths threats. On the other hand, huge companies that are involved in the logistics of planting and exporting the soy planted in the center-west and Pará.
Our story tries to cover many perspectives and aspects of this ongoing situation that is just one more example on how this election is the most important for the country’s recent history.
