when the land begins to bloom
Summary
the Tzunami of 20024 and War in Srilaka ended on 18th May 2008, destroyed this land, its new future has started since then. I traveled from Jaffna northwest coast to the south coast in wiligama passing through the great hills of the center up to Nuwara elia, in this work I wanted to look for the stories and tales of that past. Today this land begins to live again and to coexist with that past that still today remains the testimonies in the faces and stories of the people. Photos and text ©Maurizio Gjivovich (2011/2014)
