On May 20th, we celebrated World Bee Day. The United Nations General Assembly established the day in 2017 to promote public awareness campaigns and educational initiatives for these pollinators. Bees are essential for pollinating plants, which helps with food production and biodiversity preservation. They are, however, seriously threatened by issues including overuse of pesticides, habitat loss, and climate change. Our world and the existence of millions of species are seriously threatened by the rapid loss of biodiversity. To sustain the health of ecosystems, food security, and climate stability, biodiversity must be preserved. Furthermore, nature is essential to our personal quality of life and wellbeing. From planting trees and using water wisely to raising awareness and pushing conservation measures, even small efforts can have a big impact.
