Thomas Francia is born on 13 febbruary 1994 in Castelnuovo ne' Monti and he is a freelance photographer based in Bologna, Italy.
He starts to get intrested in photography at 19 years old, when he move to Bologna. He get the Art Graphic Bachelor Degree to the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna, and partecipate to different workshop about portrait and reportage with Fulvio Bugani. After graduation he starts the WSP Masterclass of reportage in Rome, under the teachment of Fausto Podavini, Giovanni Cocco and Paolo Marchetti.
He participated to the PRO-PHOTOGRAPHER Masterclass teached by Paolo Marchetti and now he is frequenting the Postgraduate Photography course to the Fine Arts Accademy of Bologna.
Intrested in socio-cultural issues, with his works he travelled across Europan countries, and now he is working on two projects in Italy. His last ongoing project "Sinti-A Family Portrait" was exposed during the presentation night of Fotografia Europea Festvial.
