I am a portrait and fine art photographer, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently I live in Brooklyn, NY although my work often takes me back to Buenos Aires.
I use portraiture as a way to connect and discover the identity of the people I photograph. In my work, I explore intimate relationships, as I do in Tati, a series of portraits of my mother.In this project I want to explore and understand our evolving relationship. In Portraits of girls in the street and the on-going Adolescent Girls at Home her portraits I aim to capture teenage girls at pivotal moments in their lives.
Currently I work alongside the Museum of the Moving Image teaching workshops in portrait photography and Visual Storytelling.
I am one of the recipients of the En Foco Fellowship in 2020. My work has been exhibited in several group and solo exhibitions such as the Consulate of Argentina (New York 2021) the Latin American Fine Art Competition, Agora Gallery (New York 2018) and Umbrella Arts (New York 2016 and 2018). I was among the selected winners of The Photo Review in 2019 and 2020.
