It is not easy to bring a smile to the faces of these war-displaced women.

These women are the first to be affected by the recent war, which has disrupted all social and economic activities of the people of Rutshuru. These women fled the clashes between the FARDC and the M23 rebels in Rutshuru. Here the biggest problem remains food assistance, health and lack of shelter.
