Both were living in Kabul, because of their work which was a private foreign company that Taliban thought that they were serving for foreign sources and they felt threatened and came to Turkey from Iran by walking for days. When they are near the Turkish border, they chased with Turkish border patrols and they started running all around. Some were caught but they managed to escape. Later on Sadullah felt really sick and had to rest, but the smuggler did not want to wait for him and they left behind. But two were determined to walk... When they entered the Turkey, the border town villagers help them and give them some food and water and give them a phone chargers. In this pictures, Sadullah and Murtaza made 40km outside of the city center in Van. Before they were on their way, Sadullah said “My ambition is to have a peaceful life and for Afghanistan so I can return back my home”. Van, Turkey 2021

However according to Van Bar Association member, Mahmut Kacan said that “a smuggler said they saw 70-80 and there were women but and no female corpses were found”. Taliban did not want him to work for that job, if he did, they would kill his family.He says that he has no other option but to come to Turkey in 2017. He wanted to continue his studies but due to economical reasons he never went to university. A few months earlier, Afizola and Latifa got engaged. The only thing was that Latifa was living in Iran. Afizola was able to saved 4000$ dollar to bring Latifa to Turkey. She walked 2,5 half weeks everyday crossing deserts and mountains in extreme hot with 300 more people in her group. She said that only 50 of them made it and only 30 of them would be able to get in the bus because the smugglers dint take more people. Two reached each other and now they are stuck in Van bus station for about 2 weeks now. They says they have been feed by people there, and they can sleep in the banks. Afizola's brother also lives in Istanbul but he isn't able to come to Van. He says they will have to think of something about their situation and find a way to go to Aksaray, where he originally lives.
