Portraits for the marketing campaign for The Vagina Monologues Alameda 2020. Shortly before the pandemic put the San Francisco Bay area and rest of the country / world on hold, we held this play in the art studio here on Park Street. Ten women came together to exude a wide range of real life monologues that expressed everything from hair to excitement to trauma to power and identity. Two nights, both sold out, and wonderfully done by the cast which were made of actors and non-actors alike. All proceeds were donation based, and went 100% to support a local women's shelter "Building Futures" in San Leandro, California.
