Hundreds of people protested in London against the brutality of Nigerian Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) whose officers are accused of robbing, attacking and even killing people. Nationwide protests in Nigeria intensified two weeks ago, after a tweet about young boy shot dead at Ughelli, Delta state. The tweet went viral and since then thousands of Nigerians home and abroad have been taking to the streets asking for the police unit to be dismantled.
