In July 2015 alone, 50,000+ refugees have completed the illegal overnight crossing from Turkey to Greece by sea, which represents a higher figure than for the whole year of 2014. This ongoing photo essay aims to depict the situation on Kos Island, one of the shortest point of entry into Europe.
