Coronavirus' Footprints in Japan, March 2020
While crowds of “masked” Japanese people still belonged to the usual street scenery of Tokyo end of February and early March, typically bustling public places like trains and airports got more and more silent. Excitement and fear was already noticeable and triggered self-determined distance, which could have still be seen as elegant, Japanese solitude, if it were not in Spring, 2020, when Governments around the globe locked down their countries as a public health necessity.
