A visual ode to all the young gymnast from the eyes of a Mother.
My daughter Luna became a gymnast when she was about 7 years of age until she had a mayor back injury 8 years later and had to leave for ever her vocation. During those hard years of training she gave many hours of her free time to the sport and many weekends did we spend traveling to participate in gymnastic meets all over the Country. When we were on the road, and at the hotels, the day of the competition was a time to reflect, focus and be calm. In that process we had some rituals that would help her keep focus. These photographs are an ode to all the young gymnast who like my daughter worked hard and sacrificed their time because they believed in what they were doing.
