About
As a documentary photographer, my work focuses on the affects of the forced migration of people. My thesis project at Virginia Commonwealth University was focused on the aftermath of gentrification brought upon Richmond by the construction of Interstate 95, which leveled much of the Carver neighborhood.

The 2010 census saw the first decline in Puerto Rico's population since the Spanish genocide of the native people there. My current work is focused on this mass migration, first from rural to urban landscapes, and then off the island completely. This is the final chapter is the United States' abusive colonization of Puerto Rico.
