About
I am a Ukrainian photojournalist who lives in Poltava region. Since 2012 I have been doing documentary photography. Since 2012 I have been working for regional mass media and all-Ukrainian ones, in particular for the UNIAN news agency. In 2013, during the events on the Maidan in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, started covering regional events in Poltava: storming of the Poltava regional state administration, rallies and meetings. Since 2015, went as a volunteer to the Russian-Ukrainian War. Later began to make photo stories about Ukrainian servicemen, volunteers and the volunteer movement in Poltava region. The most difficult was to photograph the graves of the Ukrainian military.
In 2019, prepared a photo project on children with cancer. The same current began working as a military correspondent for the news agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Half a year with colleagues worked on the front line in Donetsk region. Photographed the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation at the front and about the locals in the front-line settlements. I am currently working on a photo book about the Marines of a separate Marine Corps Battalion. In 2018, won the Grand Prix at the Day contest photo contest with «Nadzusilya». This is a photo story of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War who suffered serious injuries but did not give up and started playing sports. This support is much more productive than compassion, it brings together people with similar experiences and helps them deal with the effects of war wounds, injuries and illnesses with the support of family, brothers and the community.
